Interning
while Studying
While most internships are
full-time, some can also be only 20-30 hours per week. Often
interns are also interested in studying Chinese. Although Chinese
language ability is not essential for interns, it can not only
help you in better communicating with your Chinese colleagues or
your Chinese supervisors, but also help you to have a better
understanding of the Chinese people and Chinese culture. It can
also help you to gain an edge in your future career.
Choose our Morning Chinese Classes or Early
Afternoon or Late Afternoon Chinese Classes to study Chinese three
hours from Monday to Thursday.
Minds Abroad has 15 hours of class per week.
Each day 3 hr 45 min and 4 days (Mon - Thurs) per week; this
equates to 15 hours per week. We want to give our students Friday

Interning while
Volunteering
While most
internships are full-time, if you prefer, some can be only 20-30
hours per week. Often interns are also interested in volunteering
while they intern. We may be able to place you into volunteer
positions during the time you are not working.
Volunteering when you are free is a very satisfying experience. It
offers a cultural immersion into the local Chinese community.
Volunteers garner a direct benefit in terms of learning about a
new culture and picking up communicative Chinese skills with
native speakers. For the volunteers this is as much a rewarding
experience as with the groups touched with this community service.
