Our class sizes are small – with a maximum
of three students in our language classes. We use up-to-date
versions of textbooks and unique teaching materials written by
our teachers to help you study Chinese in a most effective and
efficient way.
Our courses are designed to be innovative,
exciting and highly practical. We frequently employ
multi-media and tailored curriculum to make courses as
exciting and educational as possible. Our goal is help
students develop the skills they need to converse in Chinese
and have a more complete interactive experience with Chinese
people and Chinese culture. Naturally, this drives us to
design courses which can produce tangible results and
cultivate people who then will be able to apply their language
skills to practical purposes. In addition, comfortable and
homelike classrooms will make you feel very much at ease.

Minds Abroad has 15 hours of class per week. Each day 3
hr 45 min and 4 days (Mon - Thurs) per week; this
equates to 15 hours per week, or 1 credit per week. We
want to give our students Friday - Sunday off so they
can explore Yunnan and nearby countries on the weekend.

Transfer Credit
:We
recommend the procedure to transfer credits by Yunnan
Nationalities University to the student’s university in
the United States. Every school has a different policy on
accepting credits earned by a student while studying
abroad. The best way to find out about your school's
policy is to visit your school's study abroad office. If
your school doesn’t have its own transfer credit approval
form, you may download ourAdvisor
Approval Form which you should give to someone in the
office to fill out for you.
The number of credits awarded depends on the total classroom hours.
